Free E-books

Besides our subscription resources, public libraries, and e-book purchasing sites such as Amazon, there are tons of sources for e-books on the Web, many of which are free. Here are a few great sources for free e-books:

Beyond Wikipedia: Online Encyclopedias

The library's collection of searchable online encyclopedias is accessible from anywhere (including off campus). Most are specialized sources covering specific subject areas in more depth than general encyclopedias such as Wikipedia or Britannica (though we have that, too). Our collection includes the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, the DSM-IV, Grove Music Online, and the Oxford English Dictionary, so check it out!
